How to prepare green fertilizer for peppers: not all gardeners know
Many experienced gardeners try to use natural fertilizers whenever possible to care for their gardens.
It is known that pepper depends on fertilizers more than other crops.
It is especially important to pay attention to the fruiting process. Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", landscape designer and scientist-agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh reminds that during this period of time the vegetable spends a lot of nutrients.
If there are not enough of them, the crop will stop developing and the fruits will stop filling out. In this case, green fertilizer will come to the rescue. It is worth starting preparation a couple of weeks before the planned introduction of nutrients.
How to make green manure
The first thing to do is find a large barrel, a third of which is filled with plant material. Then add water to the mown grass so that there are still 15 centimeters left to the top. It is best to place the container outdoors in the sun.
We use the lid, but leave a small gap.
In two weeks, high-quality natural fertilizer will be ready.
For one liter of concentrate, take a bucket of water. One liter of fertilizer is used for each plant. During the fruiting process, fertilizer can be applied every seven days.
