Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko told what goods his compatriots most often buy on credit.

We are talking about the lending program “For Home Goods,” which, according to the head of government, has demonstrated its effectiveness and demand.

We monitor the dynamics every week. It is stable, even with a slight upward trend, he said on the First Information Channel.

According to him, Belarusians most often take out loans for furniture.

Floor coverings, windows, metal doors, refrigerators, stoves, and gas boilers are also actively purchased within the framework of this program.

Pellet boilers, which were recently included in the list of goods sold under the credit program, are also in demand.

The Prime Minister stated that this program will continue to operate next year with minor adjustments: something may be removed from the list, something may be added.

Some positions may be added, some excluded. But only those that are not in demand. Now it is also important to have as much Belarusian localization as possible, Golovchenko informed.

For reference

Credit is an economic relationship in which one party receives from another monetary funds, goods/things that are not prohibited from being transferred by the relevant legislation, and promises to provide compensation (payment) or return the resources in the future.
