It has been calculated that currently every fourth Belarusian earns over 2,500 rubles, and more than every 10th person earns over 3,000 rubles.
These data are provided by the National Statistical Committee, which also points out that in 2023, real salaries of citizens, taking into account inflation, increased by more than 11%.
At the same time, some public sector employees’ salaries today exceed the average for the republic, Belstat notes.
In particular, the department cites an example: the average monthly salary of doctors for the first 9 months of 2024 exceeded the national average by 1.5 times.
According to the statistics committee, salaries are growing not only in the real sector of the economy, but also among public sector employees.
Overall, over the last three decades, wages in Belarus have increased 30 times, while over the last five years they have increased by 25.3%.
In September of this year, the nominal accrued average salary in the country amounted to 2,313 rubles 90 kopecks.
The highest of such salaries was recorded by Belstat in Minsk – 3,058 rubles 30 kopecks on average.
The TOP-3 also includes Minsk and Gomel regions with indicators of 2,367 and 2,095.1 rubles, respectively.
They were followed by Grodno (2,067.9 rubles), Brest (2,063.6), Vitebsk (1,963.9) and Mogilev (1,949.8) regions.
Belstat also calculated the average salaries among the country's workers. In this regard, representatives of the information and communications sector are in the lead - 5,474 rubles 30 kopecks on average.
The top three are financiers and insurers (3,312.4 rubles) and those involved in professional, scientific and technical activities (2,894.3).
Next come workers in the construction sector (2,822.8), industry (2,570.3), transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,302.2).

Judging by the offers of employers, nowadays in Grodno you can earn from 5,000 to 6,000 rubles.
True, only two employers are willing to provide such money for three specialists.
One of the employers is the company "Tossat". It is this company that promises from 5,000 to 6,000 rubles to a roofer for metal roofs.
The same organization will provide a bricklayer with a salary of 5,000 to 5,500 rubles.
Grodno Freight Depot No. 1, a branch of Grodno Oblavtotrans, will issue a fine of exactly 5,000 rubles to the driver of the vehicle.
In second place in the ranking of the highest salaries in Grodno are salaries from 4,000 to 4,500 rubles.
This kind of money is offered to several workers by two employers.
For example, the company "Difa" has a vacancy for a deputy general director. Salary is exactly 4,000 rubles.
The organization "Grodnozhilstroy" requires a construction machine adjuster (from 4,000 to 4,500), a crane operator (from 4,000 to 4,300), and a construction structure assembler (from 4,000 to 4,200).
The company is also hiring a plasterer (from 4,000 to 4,500), an external pipeline installer (from 4,000 to 4,200), and a painter (from 4,000 to 4,500).
In third place are salaries from 3,500 to 3,600 rubles.
Thus, the Grodno City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care offers a salary of 3,500 rubles to a surgeon.
