The Eurasian Economic Commission recorded such a growth in wages in Belarus that the republic took first place among all EAEU countries in this indicator.
We are talking about the period from January to September of this year, when the average monthly real salary showed growth of 11.3%.
In turn, the head of the Belarusian government, Roman Golovchenko, stated that the real growth of wages in the country currently amounts to 13%.
The EEC also named Belarus the leader in the EAEU in terms of nominal wage growth for the first 9 months of 2024 – plus 19.6%.
The commission also calculated that in dollar equivalent, the average monthly nominal salary for the specified time period in Belarus was $690.
In this regard, it is worth noting that from January 1, 2025, the minimum monthly wage in the republic will increase by 100 rubles - from 626 to 726 rubles.
In turn, the National Statistical Committee of Belarus reported that the nominal accrued average salary in October amounted to 2,363.4 rubles.
And the highest such salary was observed by the department in Minsk – 3,149 rubles 40 kopecks on average.
The top three leaders are Minsk and Gomel regions with indicators of 2,406.2 and 2,134.6 rubles, respectively.
They are followed by Grodno (2,111.9), Brest (2,110.9), Vitebsk (1,988.6) and Mogilev (1,974.6) regions.
Belstat reports: the highest salaries in October were recorded among those employed in the information and communications sector – 5,646 rubles 60 kopecks on average.
Second and third places were taken by financiers and insurers (3,578 rubles 90 kopecks) and builders (2,951.5 rubles).
The fourth position is occupied by representatives of professional, scientific and technical activities. They earn an average of 2,919.4 rubles.
Next come workers in industry (2,622.8 rubles) and transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,463.7).
It should be noted that the figures mentioned above are only average statistical indicators.
Real salaries, especially for November-December, may differ. And not only downwards, but also upwards.
This is clearly visible from the vacancies of employers posted in the database of the state employment service.
Even in regional centers, judging by the offers of employers, it is possible to find employment for salaries in the region of 5,000 rubles.
And in Bobruisk (a city in the Mogilev region) some people are offering someone a salary of 5,000 to 7,000 rubles.
The Bobruisk consolidated printing house named after A.T. Nepogodin promises the director this kind of money.
In addition to the applicant’s professional management competencies, the employer points out some nuances.
In particular, the candidate for the position is required to have experience in the printing industry and higher education.
In second place among the highest Bobruisk salaries are salaries ranging from 4,000 to 4,500 rubles.
True, only one employer offers such money – the Tossat company.
The organization is looking for a metal roofer, a concrete carpenter and a mason.
The TOP-3 best salaries in the regional center are rounded out by amounts from 3,000 to 3,800 rubles.
Thus, the company "SMU 48" promises to pay from 3,000 to 3,500 rubles monthly to an estimator, design engineer and repairman.
And Belshina is calling for a deputy manager to work for them. They are ready to pay the specialist from 3,300 to 3,800 rubles.
The Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units will employ a deputy chief engineer with a salary of 3,200 to 3,500 rubles.
