Salaries in the regions of Belarus. In the Minsk region – over 8,000 rubles

According to the results of the first 9 months of this year, real disposable income of Belarusians increased by 9.4% compared to the same period last year.

The National Statistical Committee recently shared these data, stating that today every fourth worker in the country earns more than 2,500 rubles.

And every 10th person has a salary of over 3,000 rubles, Belstat notes.

What else does the statistics say?

According to the agency, in 2023, real salaries of compatriots increased by 11% (taking into account inflation).

Attention is also drawn to the fact that today the average salary of some public sector employees has become higher than the average for the republic.

Doctors are given as an example: their average monthly salary for the first 9 months of 2024 exceeded the average monthly salary in Belarus by 1.5 times.

The statistical agency records an increase in salaries both in the real sector of the economy and among public sector employees.

Belstat calculated and reported: over the last three decades, salaries in the country have grown 30 times, and over the last five years – by 25.3%.

In September of this year, the nominal accrued average salary amounted to 2,313 rubles 90 kopecks.

What about the regions?

Among the regions of Belarus, Belstat names Minsk as the leader in terms of the highest salaries (nominal and accrued) – an average of 3,058.3 rubles.

The TOP-3 also includes Minsk and Gomel regions – in these regions, workers are paid an average of 2,367 and 2,095.1 rubles, respectively.

Next come Grodno (2,067.9 rubles), Brest (2,063.6), Vitebsk (1,963.9) and Mogilev (1,949.8) regions.

And among workers, the highest salaries are seen among those employed in the information and communications sector – 5,474 rubles 30 kopecks on average.

Also in the top three are financiers and insurers (3,312.4 rubles) and workers in professional, scientific and technical activities (2,894.3).

They are followed by representatives of construction (2,822.8), industry (2,570.3), transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,302.2).

Minsk region

All the above figures are average statistical indicators.

In other words, the actual wages paid now may be either lower or higher than those indicated.

This also applies to the regions. For example, in the Minsk region, the second in the rating by average nominal accrued, real salaries today are above 8,000 rubles.

At least a couple of such salaries are recorded in employers' vacancies posted in the state employment service database .

Thus, the company "Profistil" (Minsk region) offers exactly 8,000 rubles to the deputy general director.

And the football club Arsenal from Dzerzhinsk (plays in the top league of the Belarusian championship) is ready to pay an athlete-instructor 8,139 rubles monthly.

Second and third places

In second place among the highest salaries in the Minsk region are amounts from 6,000 to 7,000 rubles.

For example, exactly six thousand is the salary promised to the director of the organization “Kopylskoye” (Kopylsky district).

The company "CrocusBel" (work in Zaslavl) has prepared from 6,000 to 7,000 rubles for a process engineer and a leading process engineer.

The third position in the rating is salaries from 5,300 to 5,642 rubles.

In particular, the company "Tetras Translations" (Minsk region) offers the director from 5,300 to 5,500 rubles.

A translator can expect to earn 5,642 rubles per month if he or she successfully finds employment at the representative office of the Chinese corporation SAMS in the Republic of Belarus (Great Stone industrial park).
