Recently, the head of the Belarusian state, Alexander Lukashenko, signed the decree “On social support”.
The document provides for a number of innovations from January 1, 2025.
For example, restrictions on the size of pensions for working pensioners will no longer apply.
More than 100 thousand people fall into the corresponding category of Belarusian citizens.
In the new year, pensions will be paid to these people in full.
But what will be the amount of the additional payments? The corresponding information was shared on air by the representative of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Pyotr Shutko, on the air of Radio Minsk, the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
As the statesman noted, the indicator will depend on the individual coefficient.
According to Shutko, if the coefficient is maximum, then the amount of additional payments will be equal to 495 Belarusian rubles.
A representative of the Minsk City Executive Committee noted that the abandonment of restrictions on the size of pensions for working Belarusians will contribute to increasing the income level of elderly citizens.
In addition, certain personnel issues will be resolved.
Shutko emphasized that the innovation will be an incentive for people who want to continue their activities after retirement.
