According to the National Statistical Committee, Belarusians' salaries increased in the first 10 months of 2024.
The growth amounted to 9.5% compared to the same period last year.
And according to the Eurasian Economic Commission, Belarus became the leader among all EAEU countries in terms of salary growth based on the results of the first 9 months of 2024.
During this period, the EEC says, the average monthly real salary of Belarusians increased by 11.3%.

It is worth noting that the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, reported the following: the current real growth of wages in the country is 13%.
By the way, the EEC states that the republic is also the leader in the EAEU in terms of growth of nominal wages – over the first 9 months of the outgoing year, it has grown by 19.6%.

It is also important that from January 1, 2025, the minimum wage in the country will rise from the current 626 to 726 rubles.
Belstat reported that according to the results of October 2024, the nominal accrued average salary in Belarus amounted to 2,363.4 rubles.
The highest such wages were recorded by the department in Minsk – in October, employers in the capital paid workers an average of 3,149.4 rubles.
The TOP-3 also included Minsk and Gomel regions with indicators of 2,406.2 and 2,134.6 rubles, respectively.
Next come Grodno (2,111.9), Brest (2,110.9), Vitebsk (1,988.6) and Mogilev (1,974.6) regions.
Employees' salaries
Belstat says: those employed in the information and communications sector earned the most in October – an average of 5,646.6 rubles.
The top three are financiers and insurers (3,578.9) and builders (2,951.5).
Fourth place was taken by representatives of professional, scientific and technical activities – 2,919.4 rubles.
They are followed by workers in industry (2,622.8) and transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,463.7).
Important: the figures presented are average statistical indicators.
This means that real wages, especially recently (in November and December) differ.
Moreover, they may not necessarily be lower than average; they are often higher.
Zhlobin
