The situation in the economy of Belarus is stable, the standard of living of the population is improving.
This was stated by the head of government Roman Golovchenko on November 20 at a meeting of the Council of Ministers.

As the Prime Minister reported, in January-September, four of the five most important indicators of the government and the National Bank's performance were met: GDP growth (growth rate of 104.5% with a plan of 103.4%), real income of the population (109.4% with a forecast of 103.1%), investment (107.6% with a forecast of 102.7%) and inflation (3.8% compared to December last year with a plan of no more than 4.6%).
The target for export of goods and services was not met – the growth rate was 104.4% with a target of 105.3%, the head of government noted.
The main drivers of growth, according to Golovchenko, are industry, trade and construction.
The largest contribution to the formation of GDP was made by the Minsk region. The only region that did not fulfill the GDP target was the Gomel region.
There is growth compared to last year, but not what we expected, the Prime Minister clarified.
According to him, the population's standard of living is being systematically improved: in January-September, real disposable incomes grew faster than planned.
The average salary reached 2.2 thousand rubles, in real terms this is an increase of 13%. Pensions increased by 9.7%, the average pension in September was 803 rubles. The salaries of public sector employees increased by 11.7%.
