Gazprom to Build Liquefied Gas Plant in Belarus

A plant for the production of liquefied gas will be built in the China-Belarus Industrial Park "Great Stone".

This information was announced by the General Director of the limited liability company Gazprom Helium Service, Lyubov Brish, on September 19 after a joint meeting of the commissions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia held in the Great Stone.

As the company's CEO said, the agreement on the construction of the plant was concluded in 2023.

The first stage of the plant is scheduled to be commissioned next year.

The plant’s capacity will be about 4,000 tons per year or 0.4 tons per hour, Brish specified.

She noted that this is sufficient to supply transport companies and cover the needs of MAZ and BELAZ at the current stage.

The company's director also reported that up to 1 billion Russian rubles will be invested in the construction of the first stage of the enterprise.
