For the period from January to September 2024, real disposable monetary income of the population of Belarus increased by 9.4% compared to the same period in 2023.
The National Statistical Committee reported this, noting that today every 10th worker in the country earns more than 2,500 rubles.
The agency calculated that every tenth working compatriot receives over 3,000 rubles.
According to Belstat, last year Belarusian salaries showed an 11% increase (taking into account inflation).
Currently, the average salary of some public sector employees already exceeds the average salary in the country.
As an example, the statistical committee cites doctors whose average monthly salary for the first 9 months of 2024 was 1.5 times higher than the average monthly salary in the country for the same period.
The agency states that wages are growing both in the real sector of the economy and in budget sectors.
In general, over the last three decades, Belarusians’ salaries have grown 30 times, and over the last 5 years – by 25.3%.
In September of this year, the nominal accrued average salary amounted to 2,313 rubles 90 kopecks, Belstat cites these figures.
Among the regions, the department records the highest nominal accrued salaries in Minsk – they pay 3,058.3 rubles on average.
The top three also includes Minsk and Gomel regions, where they earn 2,367 and 2,095.1 rubles, respectively.
Next come Grodno region (2,067.9 rubles), Brest region (2,063.6), Vitebsk region (1,963.9) and Mogilev region (1,949.8).
And among workers, Belstat observes the highest salaries among those employed in the information and communications sector – 5,474 rubles 30 kopecks on average.
The TOP-3 also includes financiers and insurers (3,312.4 rubles) and workers in professional, scientific and technical activities (2,894.3).
They are followed by representatives of such industries as construction (2,822.8), industry (2,570.3), transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,302.2).
It is important to remember that the figures mentioned above are average statistical indicators.
Real wages at present, that is, this fall, can be both lower and higher than the average.
Let's look at the highest salaries in the regions of Belarus. Let's take the Vitebsk region as an example.
The fact is that here, judging by the vacancies in the database of the state employment service, you can get a job for a salary of 5,000 rubles.
True, only one employer offers such money – from 5,000 to 5,500 rubles. This is the company “Tossat”.
Hires several specialists to work in Braslav, Gorodok and Glubokoe.
In particular, the organization is looking for roofers (for metal roofs) and a mason.
In second place in the TOP of the highest salaries in Vitebsk region is the sum of 4,400 rubles.
The person who is hired as deputy head of the workshop at the Orsha plant "Legmash" can count on this kind of money.
The employer’s separately stated requirements include higher education and at least three years of work experience.
It is known that the promised work is of a permanent nature, one shift at a time.
In third place among the best salaries in the region are salaries starting from 4,000 rubles.
That’s how much (from 4,000 to 4,500) the already familiar “Tossat” promises to carpenters and concrete workers for work in Braslav, Disna, Glubokoye and Polotsk.
The same company is hiring a metal roofer to work in Polotsk. Salary - from 4,000 to 4,500 rubles.
For Polotsk, the organization is also looking for a bricklayer, promising him from 4,000 to 4,500 rubles.
The Automatic Control Devices Plant (Orsha) is calling for a director, for whom he has prepared a salary of 4,000 to 4,500 rubles.
The Polotsk forestry enterprise can pay the same amount of money to the chief forester every month.
