Belstat: Real wages in Belarus have grown by 25.3% in 5 years

Over the past five years, real wages in Belarus have grown by more than 25.3%.

The National Statistical Committee reported this on Telegram.

What Belstat said about the growth of real wages

According to Belstat, wages still account for two-thirds of the total monetary income of Belarusians.

Real wages have increased by 25.3% over the past five years.

This is an excellent sign of economic growth and an improvement in the quality of life of the population, Belstat noted.

Belstat recently published data on the nominal accrued average salary for September. It amounted to 2,313.9 rubles.

The highest average salary in September was in the capital – 3,058.3 rubles.

Minsk region took second place (2,367 rubles), Gomel region took third place (2,095.1 rubles).

Next come Grodno region (2,067.9 rubles), Brest region (2,063.6 rubles), Vitebsk region (1,963.9 rubles) and Mogilev region (1,949.8 rubles).

By type of economic activity, the highest salaries are in the field of information and communications (5,474.3 rubles), insurance and financial activities (3,312.4 rubles), scientific, technical and professional activities (2,894.3 rubles), construction (2,822.8 rubles), industry (2,570.3 rubles), warehousing, postal, courier and transport activities (2,302.2 rubles).
