The salary of every fourth worker in Belarus exceeds 2,500 rubles.
This was reported by the first deputy chairperson of Belstat, Elena Kukharevich.
As the Deputy Head of Belstat told the BELTA project “Country Speaks”, in 2023, wages in real terms, taking into account inflation, increased by more than 11%.
According to her, the forecast values for salary growth are being met in all regions and Minsk, and the salary level that was planned to be achieved has been reached.
Good rates of salary growth are observed in the budget sphere. Salaries of certain categories of budget employees exceed the national average.
Thus, for the first nine months of 2024, the average monthly salary of doctors was 1.5 times higher than the average monthly salary in the country.
Every fourth worker in the country receives a salary of over 2,500 rubles, said the deputy head of Belstat.

Salaries are growing both in the real sector of the economy and in the budget sector, added Kuharevich.
