Alexander Lukashenko signed a law (dated December 13, 2024, No. 47-Z), which amends the Tax Code of Belarus.
Some of these are increases in transport and property taxes.
The document was officially published on the republic’s legal internet portal.
For 2024, the amounts of required payments remain the same.
Individuals and legal entities will have to pay the changed rates for 2025.
So, for the first ones the rate has been increased to the following values:
– passenger cars weighing up to 1.5 tons – 70 rubles (currently – 66 rubles);
– passenger cars from 1.5 to 1.75 tons – 92 rubles (for 2024 – 87 rubles);
– motorcycles – 46 rubles instead of the current 44 rubles.
According to the law signed by the President, the estimated cost of square meters, on which the real estate tax depends, will also increase.
So, next year the cost per square meter in Minsk will be 1,020 rubles (currently – 968 rubles).
In regional centers and the Minsk region, the indicator has been increased from 806 to 850 rubles.
To find out what the annual tax will be, the said amount must be multiplied by the area of the apartment. Then calculate 0.1%.
