Average salary of Belarusians in August 2024 announced
Belarusians found out what their average salary was in August of this year.
We are talking about the nominal accrued average salary of employed citizens of the country.
The August figure, according to the National Statistical Committee, which released the figures, was 2,341 rubles 20 kopecks.
Belstat also reported where in the republic the highest of such salaries was observed in the last summer month.
This is the capital. According to the department, Minsk workers in August received an average of 3,064 rubles 30 kopecks as wages.
The TOP-3 also included Minsk and Gomel regions, with figures of 2,400 rubles 50 kopecks and 2,135 rubles 30 kopecks, respectively.
Next came Grodno (2,123.6 rubles), Brest (2,090.1) and Vitebsk (1,998.4) regions.
The Mogilev region closes this kind of rating of average August salaries with an indicator of 1,969 rubles.
And among workers, Belstat noted that the highest salaries in the specified month were among representatives of the information and communications sector – an average of 5,388.3 rubles.
According to statistics, the top three also include financiers and insurers (3,312.7) and builders (2,952.6).
They are followed by those involved in professional, scientific and technical activities. The average salary is 2,856.2 rubles.
Next come industrial workers (2,590.4), representatives of transport activities, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,380.5).
