The National Statistical Committee of Belarus has carried out the first assessment of the country's gross domestic product for January-September of this year.
The Belstat press service reported this on Telegram.
The country's GDP for January-September in current prices amounted to 180.4 billion rubles.
In comparable prices to the same period last year, the volume of GDP amounted to 104.5%.
The GDP deflator index in January-September amounted to 110% compared to the same period in 2023.
The target for GDP growth for the current year is 3.8%. So, for now, the economic growth rate is significantly higher than forecast.
In September, the Ministry of Economy announced that the country's GDP was growing at a rate higher than the world average.
