According to preliminary data from the National Bank of Belarus, as of October 1, the country's gold and foreign exchange reserves amounted to $8.8583 billion in equivalent.

According to preliminary data from the National Bank , last month the country’s international reserve assets increased by $161.2 million (1.85%).
The NBRB recalled that in August, gold and foreign exchange reserves also increased – by $165.1 million (1.9%).
The largest share in the structure of gold and foreign exchange reserves is occupied by foreign currency assets and monetary gold.
The volume of currency in the gold and foreign exchange reserves decreased by 52.1 million dollars (1.8%) last month and amounted to 2.8916 billion dollars as of October 1.
The volume of monetary gold increased by $203.5 million (4.7%) in September and amounted to $4.5674 billion as of October 1.
According to the main directions of the country's monetary policy for this year, the volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves at the end of the year should be at least 6 billion dollars.
