Belarus Raises Export Prices for Meat and Dairy Products

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has set new maximum minimum prices for some exported goods.

The price increase affected meat and dairy products shipped outside the country.

The relevant decision of the department is contained in its resolution number 102 dated October 1 of this year.

The document was officially published on the legal Internet portal of Belarus.

Now the cost of butter with a fat content of 80% supplied to Russia is 800 Russian rubles per kilo (previously – 760 rubles).

As for the lower fat butter, the price was raised from 690 to 730 rubles.

The price of butter with a fat content of 80% or more, exported to other countries, rose from $7.4 to $8.1 per kilogram.

The price of low-fat butter increased from $6.90 to $7.60.

The cost of cheeses sent to Russia has also increased. From now on, low-fat and fat-free cheeses cost 325 Russian rubles per kilo (previously – 320 rubles).

The price of cheeses with a fat content of 45% and below increased from 425 to 435 rubles, and cheeses with a fat content of over 45% increased from 430 to 445 rubles.

In addition, export prices for carcasses and half-carcasses of cattle and “other cuts of cattle” have been adjusted.

The price of milk, cream (condensed or with added cream), and dry dairy products has also changed.
