However, there are people who figuratively live only for work – these are workaholics.

Living only by work, a person loses health, friendship, family. And can even become disappointed in life.

This condition is called emotional burnout syndrome. In this condition, a person seeks solitude, is often irritated, cannot do anything except work, his relationships with others worsen, and his sleep is disturbed.

If you are increasingly experiencing stress, complaining of fatigue and insomnia, then you need to know a few effective rules to avoid burning out at work.

Distribute your workload wisely. During the day, work periods should alternate with rest periods. Rest both your head and body. That is, during rest, distract your thoughts from your work and temporarily change the environment or at least your body position.

Your goals should be realistic. Don't set yourself unrealistic goals, failure to achieve them causes stress.

It is important to separate work and personal life. Work only in the office, do not take anything home to finish. At home, only family and rest.

Do sports or any vigorous physical activity. At this time, those parts of the brain that are involved in your work are resting.

On vacation and on weekends, forget about work completely.

Take a more relaxed approach to conflicts in the workplace.

Don't try to be the best of the best in everything. You are good at something, give others the opportunity to be the best too. Cooperation instead of competition is a good way not to burn out at work. Remember that life is multifaceted!
