For comparison: the growth rate for this parameter a month earlier was recorded at 1.1%.

As for lending in the corporate segment of the country, the corresponding volume grew by 3% in July compared to 0.3% in June.

The volume of retail lending increased by 2.5%, while in June the figure was plus 2.1%.

Analysts point out that half of the volume of retail lending in July was consumer loans (plus 3.7%).

Since the beginning of this year, consumer loans in Belarus have grown by 21.6%.

The growth of loans and the increase in household incomes support high consumer activity, the EDB summed up.
