Belarus Becomes Leader in Salary Growth in EAEU Countries

It recently became known that Belarus took first place in the ranking of EAEU countries in terms of wage growth rates for the first half of 2024.

The relevant information was published on the Telegram channel of the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

It is noted that during the specified period, all countries of the Eurasian Economic Union recorded an increase in average monthly nominal and real wages.

Belarus demonstrated the greatest growth: in the first half of the year, nominal wages in the republic grew by 19.4%, and real wages by 13%.

Russia is in second place with figures of 18.1% and 9.4% respectively.

Kazakhstan rounds out the TOP-3, a country in which nominal and real wages grew by 11.5% and 2.4%, respectively, from January to June.

Kyrgyzstan is in fourth place (10.6% and 5.2%), and Armenia is in fifth place (6.8% and 7.4%).
