The National Bank told Belarusians about the country's gold and foreign exchange reserves as of September 1

The National Bank of Belarus has made fresh information on the republic’s gold and foreign exchange reserves publicly available as of September 1.

Belarusians were informed that the state’s international reserve assets by the beginning of autumn, according to preliminary data, amounted to 8.6971 billion dollars in equivalent.

The corresponding figure was published by the regulator’s press service , as were figures for some other indicators.

For example, according to the indicator for August, which has sunk into oblivion. Then, Belarus's gold and foreign exchange reserves increased by 165.1 million dollars, i.e., the growth for the month was 1.9%.

For comparison: in July, the volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves grew by 173.5 million dollars, which is exactly plus two percent.

The National Bank reports that the largest share in the structure of the republic’s international reserve assets is foreign currency and monetary gold.

The volume of the first in reserves as of September 1 was recorded at $2.9437 billion, which is $0.8 million more than the figure for July (growth - plus 0.03%).

The volume of monetary gold in August amounted to 4.3639 billion dollars, which is 150.6 million dollars more than the July value (+3.6%).
