If you are watching your figure, try having a protein omelet for breakfast instead of a regular one.

Due to the fact that only proteins are used in its preparation, the dish turns out to be low-calorie, and if you add vegetables and herbs to the omelette, it will also be fresh and juicy.

To prepare a protein omelet with bell peppers you will need:

  • 4 eggs;
  • 0.5 bell pepper;
  • 3 sprigs of green onions;
  • 3 sprigs of dill;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • salt and ground black pepper – to taste.

Wash the bell pepper and remove the core. Green onions and dill should also be rinsed and patted dry with paper towels.

Cut half of the prepared bell pepper into half rings or strips. Chop the dill and green onions using a knife or food processor.

Break the eggs, separating them into whites and yolks. Do not throw away the latter - you may need them for cooking other dishes.

Add a little salt to the whites and beat them with a whisk or mixer until fluffy.

Heat a frying pan, grease it with oil and pour the whipped egg whites into it. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for about 5-7 minutes.

When the omelette is ready, put the pepper on it, sprinkle with green onions and dill and pepper. The omelette is ready.
