Over time, even the most beloved bedroom interior can become boring or seem outdated.
However, it is not always possible to do a major renovation of this room or completely update the furnishings.
In such cases, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, suggests making small changes that will help refresh the atmosphere in the bedroom and give it a new look.
Monochrome interiors look expensive and stylish. If you are determined to do it yourself when creating a style in the bedroom, choose one tone - as a result, the room will look interesting, but not overloaded. All you need to do is choose textiles to match the walls.
Eco-friendliness and natural fabrics are always in trend, so cotton curtains in natural gray-milky tones will make the bedroom interior light and noble. Don't worry about cotton curtains looking too simple - instead, experiment with draperies and combinations of textures.
To make the bedroom more cozy, update the closet by covering its doors with beautiful fabric or soft panels. It is better to make the handles metal and protruding - so as not to touch the covering again and not to stain it.
To radically transform your bedroom, you can replace the light finish with a dark one. To do this, you will need textured wallpaper in graphite, wine or brown. The effect will be enhanced by a floor covering whose tone is close to the wall finish.
An alternative to useless decor would be a couple of large pots with green plants inside. Juicy greenery creates an effective combination with white, gray and beige tones, which are often used in bedroom design.
