Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino managed to find a way out of this difficult situation.
She advises putting a cover on the sofa - such a simple trick, firstly, will reduce the time spent on cleaning, and secondly, will preserve the attractive appearance of the upholstered furniture.
Even if you accidentally spill a whole plate of food on the sofa, you can easily remove the cover and throw it into the washing machine drum, and the furniture itself will suffer virtually no damage.
Those who are not satisfied with this option are advised to take a closer look at eco-leather sofas. The material has the property of repelling liquid, which means your fears of damaging the furniture will disappear.
Another, this time the last, way is to replace the traditional sofa with a simple bench or podium, which, moreover, can be made independently from ordinary pallets.
To add coziness, place a mattress, a blanket and a few pillows on it – and sitting on such a structure will be very comfortable.
