But very often the euphoria after furnishing a room is replaced by disappointment – as, for example, when you decide to cover the floor with dark tiles.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, explained why this technique significantly complicates everyday life.
The black tiles are truly impressive both in photos and in reality.
However, when it comes to practical use, many housewives are disappointed. The problem is that on a dark surface, whether glossy or matte, various contaminants are very visible: drops, wool, stains, crumbs, traces of water, etc.
To maintain the perfect appearance of the floor covering, it has to be washed several times a day, since the cleanliness lasts only a couple of hours.
It is important to remember that this problem concerns not only black tiles, but also tiles made in other dark colors, such as blue, brown, purple, etc.
That is why it is not recommended to use dark-colored finishing materials in the bathroom and kitchen.
