Such an “accessory” is really capable of protecting the table from damage and making cleaning the kitchen much easier, but despite this, it can hardly be called an interior decoration.
Alternatively, you can use neutral tablecloths, silicone napkins or bamboo mats. Another stylish option is self-adhesive transparent films.
Heavy curtains
As a rule, there is only one window in the kitchen, which means that you need to maximize the amount of natural light entering the room. Heavy curtains, of course, do not contribute to this.
In addition, such textiles will accumulate a large amount of dust - you will definitely be exhausted washing them. Instead, consider purchasing a Roman blind or tulle, which should be gathered with a grab on one side.
Multicolored kitchen towels
Multi-colored towels, oven mitts and other textiles in the kitchen can be compared to cheap buttons on an expensive coat.
Try to keep the textiles in the kitchen monochromatic. For a bright interior, choose calm and neutral shades, and if the kitchen is decorated in Scandinavian style, make the towels an accent - let their color intersect with other details in the room.
