If you are planning to renovate your apartment, remember: everything you dreamed about 5-10 years ago is already hopelessly outdated.
For this reason, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, does not recommend copying the interior of a friend or neighbor: trends change almost every year, so it is worth listening to the advice of professionals in order to enjoy the updated look of the house for a long time and not feel awkward in front of guests.
This kind of decor looks appropriate (and even then questionable) in huge mansions, where the ceiling height reached 4-5 m, while in typical apartments, stucco with gilding looks ridiculous.
Of course, you can allow yourself some gold and stucco elements - if the apartment is decorated in a classic, empire, baroque or rococo style, but the plaster details should be snow-white (at least in very light tones).
It is better to replace this tension structure with a standard matte ceiling. If this is not possible, choose satin materials in light tones.
Try to avoid the appearance of a bright or “acidic” palette, internal lighting and photo printing on the fabric of tension structures in your apartment.
The modern interior is monochromatic, monochrome and extremely restrained, which means that there is no room for photo printing.
If you stick to these “restrictions”, your renovation will stay fresh for many years.
