A bathroom curtain is exactly that element of the interior that is typical of the nineties and noughties.
The expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, shared her professional opinion about this “accessory”.
The specialist came to the conclusion that the curtain, firstly, looks old-fashioned.
Secondly, such a detail makes the interior look much cheaper.
And thirdly, a fabric curtain is not particularly practical, since in conditions of high humidity, mold easily appears and spreads quickly.
Instead, it is recommended to install a plastic or glass screen to protect the floor and walls from splashes.
This option is not that expensive, is easy to install and, due to its transparency, does not affect the design of the room.
If you wish, you can even make the screen part of the interior, for example, by choosing contrasting fittings or a matte or textured surface.
