Let's start with the pros: undoubtedly, such products can be easily created with your own hands, and they will look very original and attract attention - you will probably immediately want to take a photo and publish it on Instagram with the hashtag "coziness".
However, such furniture also has a number of disadvantages that make you think before picking up a hammer and nails.
Firstly, if wooden pallets are not treated properly, they will become a real magnet for dust due to their porous structure.
Secondly, it is extremely important to know where this material was used previously: there is a possibility that the boards were used in the process of, so to speak, “dirty” work and may be contaminated with toxic substances.
Thirdly, do not forget that pallets are prone to rotting, and in rooms with high humidity this process occurs much faster.
A more environmentally friendly and healthy option would be regular wooden furniture.
