Not all types of pickles, as we know, can be stored at room temperature.

Therefore, on the advice of grandmothers and mothers, cans of preserves are usually sent to the basement or to the balcony to preserve the freshness of the products.

But what if you got an apartment that has neither a balcony with a loggia nor a basement? Designer Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, shared options for safe and, importantly, aesthetic storage.

So, if the apartment does not have a balcony, the expert advises getting a second refrigerator.

Jars that can be stored at room temperature can be placed in the baseboard drawer of the kitchen - as a rule, its depth is sufficient to accommodate small containers.

And if you combine this drawer with the lower section of the kitchen unit, the resulting space will be suitable for truly gigantic jars of preserves.

In addition, the designer advises paying attention to the gap between the refrigerator and the wall – a narrow pull-out shelf can fit there.

It is ideal for jars of sauces, jams and pickles, which have a large height and a small diameter.
