No matter which of these (or other) reasons is driving you at the moment, when choosing a carpet, try to avoid models with a long pile.
Such floor coverings are simply a magnet for dust and small debris.
Because of this, you will need more time and effort to bring your fluffy carpet into proper condition.
And this is just one reason to refuse such “fluff” in the interior.
The second is that if you have pets, a high pile rug will become their favorite place to spend time.
Needless to say, the hair that accumulates on the carpet will further increase the frequency of cleaning.
