In most apartments, dish drying racks are located on the countertop near the sink.
At first glance, this seems convenient: you wash the dishes and immediately put them out to dry, without making unnecessary movements. But there is also a downside to this coin, says Yulia Tychino , an expert in interior design for the online publication BelNovosti.
The thing is that during the day the tabletop dryer is filled with different types of dishes: plates, mugs, forks, etc.
Despite the fact that the dishes dry in 15-20 minutes, no one is in a hurry to put them away in the cupboard. As a result, the kitchen looks untidy.
There are two ways to solve this problem.
The first is to buy a beautiful dish dryer that will look harmonious in the kitchen interior, and do not forget to regularly sort out the accumulated dishes.
The second way is to place the dryer in a closet.
Then you won't have to worry about where to put your plates and glasses - they'll immediately be in their place in the kitchen cabinet, hidden from view.
