Tulle is a material that perfectly decorates rooms, complements the interior and creates a feeling of coziness in the home.
But in order for the textiles to really look good, you need to take into account some nuances.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, spoke about how to choose tulle.
First, you need to decide where exactly the textiles will be hung: living room, bedroom, office or kitchen.
For example, for the bedroom it is better to choose long tulle curtains to the floor made of light translucent material.
In the kitchen, practicality is important, which means that preference should be given to short curtains reaching to the windowsill.
The last rule is also relevant for decorating a child’s room, so that the child does not get caught on the tulle while playing.
We need to decide on the color.
A more stylish and elegant option is white tulle. It is also acceptable to use pastel colors for the interior. These are universal options that will make the room fresher and lighter.
When buying, you need to carefully examine the tulle. Mesh is better suited for a modern interior and will become a good accent in the interior, but it does not absorb sunlight well.
The veil is better at blocking light and is distinguished by the fact that it allows air to pass through well.
Organza slightly dims the light, but does not let air through well. But at the same time, this material has significant advantages. For example, such tulle does not deform, does not wrinkle, and also accumulates less dust.
