Interior mistakes that will irritate you for a long time and persistently have been named: just four – advice from a designer

There are mistakes in the interior that are simply impossible not to notice in the future. You will have to either put up with their existence or somehow eliminate them.

It's easier to listen to a professional's opinion and eliminate them altogether. Then nothing will irritate or upset your mental balance.

Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told how to do renovations the first time.

Sockets and switches

The sockets should remain accessible, and not hidden somewhere under a carpet on the wall or behind a cabinet.

Otherwise, extension cords, extension cables and cable channels will appear, which will definitely not decorate your home.

The switch should also be accessible to all family members.

Lighting

The ceiling light should be located in the center of the room, unless, of course, it is divided into two zones, as is the case in one-room apartments.

The exception is the living room combined with the kitchen.

Don't forget that you need to correctly calculate the power of lighting fixtures and add multi-level light sources.

Ceiling

Today, a multi-level ceiling, especially with a glossy finish, can easily be called a designer’s worst nightmare.

Visual noise

It arises from a multitude of objects that find it difficult to find their permanent place.

For example, an ironing board standing in the living room behind the doors or an armchair, unattached and unnecessary household appliances in the kitchen, the previously mentioned extension cords and wires on the walls can be annoying.

It is advisable to foresee all this at once, and then you will be able to renovate your apartment the first time.
