Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told what is being done wrong and how to avoid mistakes in such a situation.

At the same time, you can’t ignore the zoning technique, and the next popular mistake is furniture.
It should not be standard – furniture in a small apartment should be functional.
How to fix errors
1. First, you need to decide on the interior style. It's not just a matter of fashion, but also the fact that you can't overload an already cramped space.
That's why minimalism, "scandi" or "japandi" come to mind. The latter combines the first and second options, so it will be more advantageous.
2. In tight spaces, the main thing is to get rid of unnecessary details and complex shapes.
Simple geometry, natural materials, light colors - these are the three pillars on which you can build a spacious and comfortable home.
3. Be sure to use the zoning technique. Leave a place for meeting friends and personal space - the bedroom.
4. As for the useful space, everything should be put to use – even the window sill, which would not be a bad idea to enlarge, and then it could be used for more than just flowers.
And as for furniture, you don't necessarily have to buy bulky sofas. A hammock chair or other modern analogues will come to the rescue somewhere.
