The bathroom requires a special approach to care and operation due to its specific conditions.

In this regard, according to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino , ceramic tiles are often chosen for finishing bathrooms - a durable and long-lasting material that can withstand humid air, splashes of water and temperature changes.

But even despite the strength of the tiles, due to poor ventilation, mold may appear on the walls, and the tile joints will darken due to high humidity. Therefore, before starting repairs in the bathroom, it is important to think through the ventilation system, and then choose finishing materials.

Experts recommend using ceramic tiles only in those areas of the bathroom that are in direct contact with water – in the bathtub and sink area.

The following materials can be used to finish the remaining walls.
