Is it worth laying a carpet?
Someone long ago called the carpet a dust collector, and soon these coverings went out of fashion, but they came back or are coming back again.
Their main advantage is heat and sound insulation. It is much more pleasant to put your feet on a fluffy and warm carpet in the morning than on a cold floor.
Which one is better?
These can be classic products made of wool, seaweed, coconut fiber. You can also choose artificial materials, such as polyamide, which is not afraid of mechanical damage and deformation.
But the main thing is the carpet backing. If your neighbors are often noisy, it is better for the product to be made of felt.
It dampens noise, keeps you warm and doesn't wear out.
