To do a designer renovation in your apartment, you will need 2 things: know the basic rules and get rid of stereotypes that have formed regarding interior design.

And it sounds like this: “furniture should be placed exclusively in the “correct” place.”
The word “correct” in this expression means the same as the usual, traditional, established: the sofa must definitely stand against the wall, opposite it is a place for the TV, and on the side it is worth placing a bookcase, a sideboard or a “wall unit” - this is if we are talking about the living room.
You can handle the bedroom yourself: there should definitely be a bed with two bedside tables on either side, and a mandatory element in the kitchen is a large dining table that can accommodate the whole family.
However, all of the listed solutions are nothing more than templates, because there is no “correct” arrangement of furniture items.
Instead, you, as the owner of the apartment, should place interior items where it is convenient for you.
This will probably involve atypical zoning or non-standard furniture arrangement, if you, for example, move the dining area into the living room or set up an office in the bedroom.
This does not mean that you made a mistake, but simply means that you did what was most convenient for you and designed an interior that will be ideal for you and your family.
