If you have ever worked with wood flooring before, you will be aware that small gaps in the flooring are a must.

According to designer Yulia Tychino , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, gaps are needed so that the wood can move freely when the material expands in conditions of increased humidity, and also for ventilation.

But over time, the cracks can become so large that you will have to think about how to eliminate them.

And the folk method with sawdust will help you with this.

To prepare the insulating composition, you will need the already mentioned sawdust and PVA glue, which must be mixed until a thick mass is obtained.

The paste is pressed into the gaps in the wooden floor using a spatula.

It will take about 2-3 days for the mixture you prepared yourself to dry completely.

After this short period of time, you will need to work a little more, carefully removing the excess paste with fine sandpaper.
