Dining area
If the carpet is laid in the dining area, then both the table legs and the chair legs should rest completely on it.
This rule applies to the position of chairs at and around the table.
Under the furniture
An option that is quite common and mainly found in standard apartments in the company of a sofa, armchairs and a wall unit.
The carpet is laid out so that the front legs stand on it. This also applies to other cabinet furniture.
