According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino , it often happens that even new buildings cannot boast of high ceilings.
The specialist shared with us an idea on how to solve this problem using curtains.
So, for a low room, flowing curtains that fall from the ceiling to the floor are suitable.
To make the ceiling a little higher (visually, of course), choose light materials that are easy to drape and lay down, forming beautiful folds.
Curtains, in turn, should be made of a single-color fabric. The presence of upward stripes or a repeating print of vertical orientation is allowed.
In addition to the curtains, the cornice is also important, which should in no case be massive, but ideally should have the appearance of a string.
Needless to say, it is better to remove furniture from the window, especially if there is a beautiful view from it.
