Paint correctly
To visually make the height of the room more significant, the ceiling should be made light. The same paint should be used for the walls.
It is desirable that the surfaces shine a little. The appearance of the gloss effect is a guarantee of visual enlargement of the space.
Use appropriate wallpaper
If you are using paper finishing material, then you need to stick white wallpaper without any patterns on the ceiling.
But the wall should have striped wallpaper. And it is important that the stripes are vertical, not horizontal.
Place certain furniture
Sofas and armchairs installed in a room with low ceilings should be light.
It is desirable that the cabinet be also covered with white paint. By the way, the higher this piece of furniture is, the better.
Remove the large lamp
In a room that is not very high, there is no need to install a huge chandelier: it will “eat up” the space.
