When renovating a room, we usually change the wallpaper, paint the floor, stretch the ceiling...

Changing radiators is usually not part of our plans. That's why we get such a contrast: fresh European-style renovation and old radiator pipes.

Covering them with wallpaper is not an option, and hiding them in boxes is quite expensive, and it doesn’t look the best, since the pipes are significantly separated from the wall.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, advised what to do in this situation.

Regular ceiling skirting boards will come to the rescue.

Due to their low weight, you can attach the skirting board to the pipe using double-sided tape, a narrow strip of which should be placed in the center of the skirting board.

After this, glue the skirting board to the front of the pipe, and the repair can be considered complete.

By the way, the plinth can also be used when there is a need to hide the flaws of wallpaper pasted to the corner of the room. Please note: in this case, the plinth should be glued with a special glue that is intended for products made of polystyrene foam.
