Shower
First, you need to decide what it will be - a bath or a shower. With a bath, everything is much simpler, but there are many options for shower cabins.

The latter should be made of aluminum, otherwise corrosion cannot be avoided. It is also worth giving up an abundance of plastic elements.
Floor
Usually tiles are used in the bathroom, under which heated floors have to be laid for maximum comfort.
As an alternative, you can use quartz laminate. It completely imitates wood or can be designed to look like stone. In any case, this coating is not afraid of water at all - it does not swell or dry out later.
It is not only laid on the floor, but also used to decorate walls, even in areas where water constantly gets in.
Its main advantage is that laminate flooring is much easier to lay than tiles.
