But the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, advises not to get upset and use several life hacks that will help make the bathroom bigger. At least visually.
Use closed storage systems
Open storage is always a source of visual noise, so try to hide household chemicals, bath accessories, cosmetics and other things in a closet, if you have one, of course.
Dirty laundry should be placed in a basket with a lid, and shampoos, conditioners and other products should be poured into identical dispensers.
Remove the rug
To make the bathroom look more spacious, you shouldn’t divide it into zones, and a rug lying on the floor does just that.
If you can’t imagine a room without a soft rug, choose a rug that matches the color of the flooring so that it doesn’t stand out.
Replace the curtain with a screen
A shower curtain always overloads the space or hides part of it, so it makes sense to install a transparent screen in its place.
It doesn't matter whether it's glass or plastic, it does a great job of protecting against splashes and also visually makes the room more spacious.
