How to save on built-in furniture without sacrificing quality

Perhaps, no design project is possible without built-in furniture.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, told about a simple trick that will help reduce this category of expenses.

First of all, it is worth remembering that there are three materials that can be used for cabinet fronts.

This is solid wood, which is expensive, MDF (veneer or enamel) is relatively inexpensive, and chipboard is cheap.

The first option is not suitable for this purpose in principle - it is not only illogical, but also impractical.

After all, only a couple of people will know that the facade is made of natural wood, while veneered MDF, in which only the top layer of wood is cut, has an absolutely identical appearance.

Therefore, if we are talking about technical rooms such as a dressing room, boiler room, laundry room, etc., opt for chipboard for facades and skeletons.

But if we talk about the kitchen, living room, bedroom and other similar rooms, choose MDF (veneer or enamel). The internal skeletons should be made of chipboard.
