Which tiles will only ruin your bathroom: relevant for any renovation
Among the variety of tiles presented in the store, there are options that are not even worth considering.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, designer Yulia Tychino , told us which tiles can ruin the interior of a bathroom.
Perhaps the first place on the list should be occupied by an unrealistic imitation of a natural material – for example, wood or marble.
If we are talking about tiles that are planned to be used as floor coverings, you should not turn your attention to white, black or very dark tiles.
This solution is extremely impractical - every speck of dust is visible on white, and every speck of dust on dark.
You should also avoid using tiles with decorative or patterned inserts in certain places - this looks like an unsuccessful attempt to add something interesting, because without it it’s boring.
A bad option is tiles with a floral print. Flowers look good in their usual environment - for example, in vases or pots, but not on the walls.
It is also worth giving up bright, flashy colors - it doesn’t matter whether it’s tiles or wallpaper, the desire to look away from the wall in such tones arises after a few seconds.
