Live flowers can become a decoration for any interior. If, of course, they are arranged correctly.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, told where else you can place plants besides the windowsill.
1. Next to the TV
If there is a cabinet or console in front of the black screen, you can safely place one or even two small plants there. There is also room for a large flower in a floor pot next to the TV. But you should avoid placing two similar flowers on either side of the TV.
2. Above the dining table
If you want to freshen up your dining area, use a potted hanging plant that you can place on the wall above the table.
3. On an open shelf
Open shelves are the best choice for indoor plants. An important condition: even if the shelf is small, give preference to flowers with a lush crown. Small cacti will simply get lost among the decor.
4. Behind the sofa
This option will allow you to hide the pot and trunk from view, while leaving the spreading leaves in sight. To implement this solution, take a closer look at varieties that resemble palm trees.
5. Under the ceiling
This option is suitable for any area in the apartment. Important: for placement under the ceiling, it is worth using hanging flowers that do not need much light and frequent watering.
