Even in a one-room apartment, you can arrange the space in such a way as to leave room for a full-size large bed.

How to do this was explained by designer Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti.

A wardrobe or shelving unit will help create a partition where you can hide the bed from prying eyes – this solution was used decades ago in communal apartments.

Instead of hiding the bed, you can place it in plain sight – namely, in the wall. As you might have guessed, we are talking about a fold-down bed.

If there is a niche in the room, it would be a sin not to use it. By the way, you can create a niche yourself - all you need to do is extend the partition from the corridor.

And what about the attic? Yes, yes, if you still have gunpowder in the powder flasks, the bedroom can be raised to the ceiling, and the freed up space below can be used as a workplace or wardrobe. The main thing is not to forget about the sides, which will ensure your safety.

Another option that is attached directly to the ceiling is a lift bed. Of course, such an invention cannot be called budgetary, but it does not hurt to consider this possibility when planning a room.

To separate the sleeping area, you can also build a solid partition made of plasterboard or a translucent one made of tempered glass or plastic.

And finally, you can always allocate an existing room for a bedroom and move the living room to the kitchen. If the area of the room is more than 8 m, this will be enough to place a comfortable sofa here for your guests to relax on.
