Alexander Lukashenko addressed the People's Artist of Belarus Igor Olovnikov.

The reason for this was the maestro’s 70th birthday, which the President himself congratulated him on.

The text of the message draws attention to the great contribution of the hero of the day “to the preservation and development of the traditions of Belarusian academic art.”

The head of state, as reported by his press service , called the artist’s activities “an example of the highest service to national culture.”

According to him, “virtuoso performance skills” earned Olovnikov “sincere love” from admirers of the talent of the soloist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic and professor of the special piano department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.

The head of state is convinced that Olovnikov’s activities will continue to be just as fruitful and selfless, aimed at the good of the Motherland.

The President wished the artist health, inspiration and new achievements.
